How much does Geo-Tech charge for an evaluation?

Standard evaluations are always at no charge.

Are you insured?

Yes, Geo-Tech Foundation Repair carries a $1,000,000 general liability policy. We will be happy to provide you with a copy of our certificate upon request.

How long have you been is business?

We’ve been in business for over 25 years, Geo-Tech was founded in Janurary of 1984.

Do you offer a lifetime transferable warranty?

Yes, All foundation work carries a lifetime warranty.

How long will the repairs take?

Most jobs can be completed in one day.

How much does foundation repair cost?

Each house is different and has its own set of circumstances; some homes need more work than others. Only after a complete evaluation can we give you a scope of work that might be necessary to repair the foundation.

Will my landscape be disturbed?

The pier installation methods we use cause minimal disturbance to the home’s surroundings. However, if bushes or plants have to be removed we will place the them in a temporary container and water them. The plants will be replaced in the same position they were removed from.

How long does the initial evaluation take?

Generally evaluations take between 1-1.5 hours. The evaluator will draw a footprint of your house on his computer while performing a visual inspection on the outside of the property. He will then take elevation measurements and perform a visual inspection on the inside of the home. After all the information is compiled, the evaluator will develop a plan of repair if repairs are needed. If repairs are recommended, he will explain why repairs are needed and answer any question you might have.

What are your normal business hours?

Office hours are Monday to Saturday from 7:00am to 7:00pm. We generally preform evaluations between the hours of 9:00am to 3:00pm Monday through Saturday but will adjust to fit around your busy schedule.

What causes foundation problems in the first place?

Generally speaking, water is the main cause of foundation problems. Either there is too much water near and around the foundation, or not enough. Check out our Common Causes of Foundation Problems page to learn more.

What can I do to prevent foundation problems from occurring?
